Merge To Single Track Plus Overlap

How can I best merge a group of files into a single track? Can I make them mix and overlap a couple seconds?

Resonic is not a DAW, but rather a creativity tool that goes with a DAW, and doesn't let you edit multi-track timelines.

However it does multi-track mixing naturally, but not individual files so far. Merging them together would also be an option for future updates.

A user interface is like a joke: if you have to explain it, it's not that good.

There are a few different ways to merge multiple audio files into a single track. The simplest way is to use a digital audio workstation (DAW) like Ableton Live, Logic Pro, or Pro Tools. These programs allow you to merge multiple audio tracks into a single track and adjust the levels, panning, and other effects of each track. Additionally, you can use a crossfade effect to make the tracks overlap and mix together.

Another way to merge multiple audio files is to use a free online audio editor like Audacity. Audacity allows you to easily import multiple audio files, mix them together, and export them as a single, merged track. You can also adjust the levels, apply effects, and use the built-in crossfade feature to make the tracks overlap and mix together.
