Hi, loving the resonic player.
In the file list, the first time you single-click a file, it plays. The 2nd time you single-click a file, it doesn't play. You have to click another file, then click the first file again.
Yes, I can then click the |> play button, or press the spacebar, BUT:
It would be really nice if you play the same file every time you single-click it in the file list.
Resonic player: play file list item on each click

Welcome Nick!
This is intended default behavior we've decided on to make sure drag & drop works flawlessly. There is always a downside that might affect usability, but in this case drag & drop was more important.
However, there are two things you can do:
You can always restart the file with a double-click if it's already playing.
From 0.9.3 up (in both Player and Pro) you can change the behavior so that it always restarts on the second click, which allows you to retrigger the file with mouse clicks without delay just like clicking a drum pad.
Check the "Menu | File List | Restart on subsequent clicks" option

A user interface is like a joke: if you have to explain it, it's not that good.

Re: Resonic player: play file list item on each click
This is exactly the behaviour I want! Thank you very much
The use case is learning a language: I have each individual sound as an mp3, and I swap between the difficult sound files in Windows explorer so I gradually learn the difference.
