Mainly win 7 pro x64 which was downgraded from an 8 pro install - that where the bulk of use happens

Mainly 7 until 10 is a full release... Then we'll see if 10 is able to become my primary gaming/productivity OS.
I don't suffer from insanity... I'm still insane though.

Re: Which Windows versions are you running Resonic on?
I started running it on my old machines (both 10 years old running xp) & then installed it on this portable pc running w8.
Runs perfectly on all the machines.
edit : I've never had a crash using Resonic on all 3 computers, something very rare for an alpha release & honestly I sometimes really put it through the grinder !

That is nice to know!Aethr wrote:Runs perfectly on all the machines. edit : I've never had a crash using Resonic on all 3 computers, something very rare for an alpha release & honestly I sometimes really put it through the grinder !
Although, it seems that most users are finally leaving XP, which is really good news.

Have not been around here much, since I have switched to ArchLinux.
Not planning to use windows, ever.
But it is great to see Resonic progress to beta. Great work.
I might try to see if player works with Wine.
It would be great to see in the future a build for Linux.

Unsure about Windows 10 so far. It sounds like a worthwhile OS, but so far I'm unsure about what's the hook. Something feels fishy about how MS communicates it...
I guess I'll run it on a test system and see what deeper insight comes up on the web after the release...
Cheers,
Tom

My main studio Machine: Windows XP Pro
My secondary machine: Windows 7
I really hope you will support Windows XP as long as you can.
Thanks, Michael at The Coffeehouse

XP support will definitely remain until the major 1.0 release. We'll reassess the situation after that.
