Primarily a big thankyou for developing ResonicAP.
Really liking the Alpha so far and I'm ready to incorporate the player into my workflow.
I'm on W7 and Resonic will deffo replace WMP12 for me.

Do you have any plans on allowing Resonic to be associated with all audio files during setup
(also known as setting it up as a windows default programme)?

If so, when will this be integrated into Resonic? At a final development stage?
(I know, I'm already able to associate the files manually, but it might come in handy..)

I assume dedicated resonic audio file symbols are on your list too,
because by clicking on a associated audio file via explorer, the file browser in resonic
already jumps to the right direction.

To sum it up, I'm very interested in your schedule concerning the integration of resonic into windows.

Thanks!

Sure I'll be providing a way to associate Resonic with its supported file types, but for now it's really not high on my list for the alpha version right now as users can always - as you did yourself - associate the files manually.

Icons will be a different cup of tea, that'll be quite some work there.

The command-line support is functional already and it always points the browser to the file you dropped on it, as you noticed. Note that you can also drag and drop files onto the browser, and onto the file list, for different effects.

Thank you for clarifying.

I just have to get used to the windows standard media icons ;)
In comparison to the WMP12 icons they just don't show the file type.
But you know this either way..

Once the preferences dialog is in I'll be working on this!
