[New here] Increase volume of waveform in timeline?

I will attempt to make myself more clear about the question. I noticed the other types of waveforms picks up the sound but the standard waveform doesn't show sound until it reaches a certain decibel so I am wondering if there is a way to "zoom in" so I can see sounds that are under the certain volume across the timeline.

Either way this is a very cool software and I use it to pick up sounds recorded by my dashcam when I am away.

Hey William, good to have you here!

Are you using free Player, or Pro? The free version does not offer this feature. In the Pro version the feature exists in two flavors on the main transport bar:
  • the first button scales the waveform peaks (factor), but does not change volume
  • the second button acts as audio amplification (db) which also scales the waveform peaks accordingly

PM me your full name and email and I'll send you a 100-day Pro so you can get an idea how it feels and whether it actually helps you the way you expect it to.

Now you can't say fairer than that William ;)

And if you want to find out about all the other enhancements of Pro compared with Player, have a read here:
