Is Resonic Pro Dead?

It seems that there is not much going on about updates... I have paid for early access to support and wait for what was promised but things now appear to have stagnated. Any news?

Re: Is Resonic Pro Dead?

No worries, it's very much alive.

We've been working on it non-stop since the last update, mainly coding though, and keeping the finances up (which is not an easy task at this stage.)

This year has also been tough on me personally, I'm not trying to hide this. I lost a family member in the worst possible way, and then almost another one, so short update cycles were out of question as I had to retreat a bit from the social interaction side overall (including the web) and used the left-over brain juice for the Resonic code base.

Our main focus now is fixing stability bugs and preparing the database/metadata/search system for the next stretch of features (0.9.1 through 1.0.)

0.9 is in its finalizing phase, which will be primarily a bugfix release.

Hi Tom and I am very sorry to hear your personal news, I actually feel like a fool now... :)
Anyway, thanks for the update. I really like Resonic and I am eager to see what's coming next.

Almost a half year has past. It has become very quiet.
When can we expect the next update?

We're finalizing the next release now with beta testing about to begin. Beta testing was moved to Slack (join via https://slack.liqube.com).
