Resonic: Shaded Area
Resonic: Shaded Area
Greetings All,
I was wondering if its possible to make the shaded/played area any darker like the earlier versions?
More contrast.
I'm not using Pro but the latest free version, only for personal use.
Many thanks,
Denny

Apologies for the late reply. Which version are you even on? I'm adjusting the color scheme from version to version, so it's best expressed with a screenshot and version number. Thanks!

A user interface is like a joke: if you have to explain it, it's not that good.

I can't attach files there too large.
This is about the contrast difference between played and not played display. On the waveform from 20-20K where you can move the cursor around and it shows the Hz where your cursor is.
Seemed much better on older versions.
I'm using: 0.9.1b, Build 1690, Jan 24 2018.
I believe there is a newer version, I haven't tried it yet.
Regards,
Denny

There are currently three newer versions, including the latest stable 0.9.3 and the pre-release 0.9.4 (get it on our Discord or Slack). You might want to see if it's better with them, because the theme almost always get tweaked a bit between releases. Then again, every screen is pretty much different and when it comes to slight differences in shade and ips vs. tn screens, for example, it's almost impossible to get it right on all of them.
Let me know if any if them are better, or worse.

Hi Tom,
Installed 0.9.3 on two PC's, one was update and one was new install, don't use that PC for audio. Tried four different monitors on both PC's. Also, tried tweeking the adjustments on the monitors.
On Musical Spectrum, Waveform and Mono Oscilloscope the shaded area is great.
On Logarithmic Analyzer and Linear Analyzer the shaded/played area starts strong at bottom and fades to nothing at the top of window. So with a 'solid' waveform it's hard to see but on 'outline' that helps a lot.
I see on Pro there is a Solid Background offered. Would that help or what does it do?
The early versions seemed to have more contrast and not fade at top.
Is there a place to still download earlier versions?
Not trying to break your back.
Thanks,
Denny

Not really, mainly because of the flood of support questions we received about obsolete things. Is there a place to still download earlier versions?
It would, yes. For some reason the analyzers are still on gradient by default. I will unlock this option for the free Player 0.9.4, I thought I had done it ages ago anyways.I see on Pro there is a Solid Background offered. Would that help or what does it do?
PM me full name/email and I'll send you a trial key for the Pro so you can try it already. I might be able to add in some last-minute tweaks.
