Can somebody please tell me if there's a real-time playback speed control (without altering the pitch) in the pro version? I saw a screenshot of a menu item about it, but couldn't find any mention of it in the documentation...so it's not clear to me if it's already there or maybe just in development

It's not in development yet, but planned. At the moment pitch can be changed freely and in realtime while changing playback speed, i.e. frequency change. You probably saw the frequency menu item that lets you play - say - a 44.1 file at 48.
