The final release candidate with some last-minutes fixes, changes, features. Even some important ones.

This build is older than Alpha 910.

Give it a go, unless you find something this'll go public soon!

See changelog.txt as usual!

Thanks!

I like the fade-in when starting and also keeping the playback position.

One thing I've noticed, in previous versions as well, is that it can take up to 3 seconds to quit the program, doesn't happen every time.

Also another thing I would like to point out, again, sorry. Opus files with ReplayGain tags are very quiet, the waveform are small. Playing e.g. MP3 after, the volume will be very loud.
Doesn't happen with MP3 files that got ReplayGain.

Functions identically to previous build. I can't find any of the changes anywhere though...

Fade-in is a Big NO for me because I want to hear the full transient (attack) of a kick or snare sample.

The transient (3 ms) is so important to the sound quality.

Also, I suggest to make the plain waveform display as default.

All the rest is perfect :D

Thanks

This is definitely the best build. Sorry I didn't have a chance to reply to the previous one. I was having an issue with lag in the waveform preview, but I wanted to see If I could replicate it on my desktop at work.

This build fixes any lag that I saw. This is a great update.

Thanks for the hard work Tom!

Please test before you comment. There are no transients lost.

Hi Tom

The transient lost occurred just after pressing stop and play again.

I have a wav loop sample (4 kick) in loop mode.

You can download the test file here.

max, thanks! and sorry, you were absolutely right. i'm just too eager to get the alpha out, so many last-minute fixes.

i see this problem is also present in the last version. something else i noticed: the same file, when ended, does not restart when clicked in the file list.

both problems are gone now.

All is fine here, nothing bad to report, it's gonna be a good release.

(Also, I hope we can test the library feature in the next pre-release  :) )

For your question about the shortcut of the looping function. if it might interfere in your workflow, i don't recommend to create one.
