We're working on WASAPI (exclusive/shared) ASIO audio output support, additional themed controls, the configuration dialog, and the Pro database features.

A user interface is like a joke: if you have to explain it, it's not that good.

I think resonic is a wonderful player! in my opinion there are only the WASAPI exclusive support and ASIO for the free version too, to make it an exceptional player! thanks for your great work!

Cheers!

We're working on bit-perfect and multi-channel playback via ASIO, which is Pro exclusive. Not sure about what comes next for the Player version though, but WASAPI exclusive might be the way to go.

Are this options (I mean the output settings) implemented in actual version (0.8.9)?

Because, I only can switch the devices/modes, but don't see any output options...

These were lab experiments, i.e. premature implementations of ideas or thoughts.

However, exclusive mode is likely coming with the next update.

Ah ok, yeah now I see this topic is in the labs section ... ^^

But I really hope that exclusive mode would be optional (so an option to use shared mode, too)?
Because, if (and that I will) you use Resonic for music playback in background, too (while working/ doing other stuff on computer),
exclusive mode is not useful in situation where you will or have to playback another sound (e.g. short video clip) ;)

There will be an option to select shared or exclusive mode, of course :)
