I think the new columns are great, I like that you can get rid of some categories. Some other category options would be nice, like one showing ratings or play count for example. It's funny that you mention this. IMHO a slope of 3 or 4.5dB/oct displays the data musically and the 0dB/oct analytical (=true values). Not just the scale, dynamic fall-offs as well. But, yes. Definitely. I think this is especially important when working at night.
I have a color theme system planned, but it'll still take a good while to finish that as there are some elements that cannot easily be colored (like buttons or tabs), so they have to be remade.

Currently white noise results in a flat spectrum curve (equal power per frequency band). I'd rather prefer it if something like pink noise would result in a quasi flat spectrum. Well, the former is the correct way of representing the spectrum and I'll likely be sticking to it for now as it matches ...

It's only really cut off for lower sampling rates, but in any case it's incorrectly scaled for sampling rates other than 44.1kHz. Also, the values shown are incorrect. I've already fixed this issue and will include it in the next update!

That helped! I reduced my processor speed down to a fraction of the original and voilá, the problem started appearing, including the GPF.
