Temporary volume reduction works nice. Musical spectrum visualization looks cool. Music plays back very smooth and clean/clear. Startup is actually faster by 2 seconds over previous versions of Resonic. Sits around 3% CPU usage with a high-bitrate FLAC at maximum compression. Hitting 'next track' bu...

Re: Have base source code cross-platform for easy port
There is an impressive market on Linux as well... It's just not well publicized as it violates the "free and open source" feeling that many are trying to go for. Ubuntu has lots of paid-only programs in their repositories, and there are plenty of paid-only repositories all over the place for Fedora....

Re: Cannot drag/drop anything?
It doesn't block them completely, no but most programs use some aspect that requires some form of administrative access, and that is the part that is blocked. (and about half the time UAC doesn't notify you that it blocked it)

Re: Cannot drag/drop anything?
UAC blocks anything that tries to run except for OS components, and currently installed programs. Background installations of malware was what it was originally intended to prevent. Windows Defender was Microsoft's first aborted attempt at an integrated anti-virus solution.

Yeah, a decent AV security suite. It's perfectly all right to disable UAC, (provided you have the AV suite) as I did that first thing when I got my laptop over 2 years ago, and have never had any issues since. The UAC was designed to prevent unknown items from running in the background and causing d...

Re: Cannot drag/drop anything?
Glad to help. I know from experience that UAC is a massively flawed security implementation that tends to interfere with normal operations of a computer, and rarely if ever prevents a security breach. I recommend a dedicated security program, and disabling UAC to everyone I do troubleshooting for.

OK, looks like it was a false alarm with the crashing. I rebooted my computer, and the game and Resonic are both running flawlessly. Appears that it was a network connection overload caused by one of my torrenting programs that was causing the system instability.
