Since the pitcher really is a lossless frequency shifter there's a certain limit as to how the internal sampling rate can go without resampling. I'll see if I can squeeze a few more ST out of it, but it won't go anywhere near +66 unfortunately.

When/while in DCM I would appreciate if the meta window on the right side would display the info from the file under actual selection. That way I could keep listening while preview the meta data of other files. I don't see any advantage in staying there at the actual playing file ( while in DCM! )....

The former will be a bit tricky as they are still tied together.

But the latter will be in 0.9.4: ENTER will retrigger the selection instead of the whole file, if there is a selection. Just finished the implementation.

Agreed. The directory structure is undergoing a major rework for 0.9.4 and these three (and possibly more in the future) folders will go into an "Audio Files" folder, or similar. That folder can then be relocated on the system via settings. That'll probably be part of the small 0.9.5 update shortly ...

If you pause or stop the file is still open. You can press stop twice to free the file, and three times to also release the soundcard. To free the current file you can also press CTRL+W. Until we have this figured out you could think about keeping Resonic running. It doesn't use a lot of memory and restores the window quickly whenever you play something.

You can find a few options at "Menu | Interface | Window options", namely "Always minimize to tray", and "Always close to tray".

Was the last file you played maybe located on a mapped network drive that is no longer available?

Try holding down CTRL while Resonic starts to see if it's related.
