Feature suggestion: Keyboard shortcut to make the cursor "magnetic"
It would be great if the cursor becomes "magnetic" and snaps automatically to the nearest peak/trough. For example: 1. If I press a modifier key and then move the cursor with the mouse or arrow keys, it should snap to the next peak/trough. 2. If I release the modifier key, the cursor can be moved fr...

Suggestion: Let the user enter a time stamp to jump there
Currently, the user has to select a position in the timeline manually.
Let him enter a timestamp to jump there.
IMHO the best way to do this is to click on the orange time label and enter a new value.

Bug: The "Enable global hotkeys" toggle button in "Preferences" window is not color-coded correctly
The "Enable global hotkeys" toggle button in the "Preferences" window is not color-coded correctly. It remains green regardless of its position (left/right).
Desired:
When the button is in the left (off) position, it should be red or gray.

Suggested feature: Provide a keyboard shortcut to jump to the next peak/trough
This suggestion is to leverage the unique waveform display in Resonic. While the user can see the waveform, he has to click on the peak or trough (including silence) manually. The app can help him in this. Provide a shortcut that jumps to the next peak/trough in the waveform. This feature is there i...

Suggested feature: Allow user to zoom in the timeline
Sometimes a track is very long (e.g. 8 hours). The timeline panel shows the entire track at 100% zoom. But at that zoom, we cannot see the individual peaks/roughs in the waveform. Thus the entire advantage of Resonic over other players is washed out. Let the user zoom in a specific part of the wavef...

BUG: The play/pause button does not follow the correct convention
When we have combined the play and pause buttons, its display contravenes the visual logic: If any button is togglable, the interface shows a shaded icon to indicate the "pressed" state, and a white background icon to show "unpressed" ("released") state. So if the Play button is shaded, it means the...

BUG: The tooltip for Mute button is misleading
The tooltip for the Mute button says "Mute Volume (PAUSE)". However, if we click on it, it does not pause the audio. Thus the "(PAUSE)" part is misleading. It should be removed.

Suggested feature: Allow user to scrub the timeline (drag the mouse to hear sound at that point)
Hi
Allow the user to scrub the timeline (drag the mouse along the timeline to let him hear the sound at that point, without having to let go of the LMB).
This feature (along with the waveform display) will allow him to jump to a precise point quickly.

Suggested feature: Please provide keyboard shortcuts to jump back/ahead by different amount
Hi It would be nice to have different keyboard shortcuts to jump forward/backward by different time intervals. Further, these intervals should be user-settable. For example, LeftArrow and RightArrow: jump by 5 seconds CTRL+LeftArrow and CTRL+RightArrow: jump by 10 seconds ALT+LeftArrow and ALT+Right...
