Resonic Player 0.6.3b icon (logo) is missing in Windows 8.1 metro start screen.

"live tile" on Windows 8.1 Start Menu is blank/missing.

All I have is a solid white tile, with no text or logo.

When I click on the white tile, Resonic opens fine.

I think a mono switch is better than the new stereo reduction (headphone icon) that you have included in the latest beta.

I think Resonic is best with no DSP.

I was just to post the same bug :
There is no "Modified" option/column in the file list, to sort the files by modified date (this was extremely useful...)

There is a lag time when I click ''super fast'' on the filename of a sound in the playlist to repeat it like : ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ...

The super fast repeat is working perfectly with the enter key and the play button.

It would be nice if you can correct this.

Yes the plain dark blue waveform is nice and could be darker to improve contrast.

Best default waveform in my opinion.

I would like to see if some MP3 has some ReplayGain Tags.

I would like to edit or delete the ReplayGain Tags.

Can you also add an option to set Resonic to ignore all ReplayGain Tags.

Attention !!! Windows 8.1 Update will reset your sound card settings. I have found the solution to my volume problem. My solution was to untick the option in the Speakers properties > Advanced Tab > Signal Enhancements (Allows extra signal processing by the audio device) > Enable audio enhancements....

You can also Record the ''what you hear'' from a sine at -6 db (44.1 kHz) compare to a sine at -6 db (48 kHz).

Record the transition and look at the wave display in Sound Forge to see volume difference.

Sure I can give you the 48 000 Hz MP3 on Skype.

The extension mp3 is not allowed here on the forum.

The problem exist for the bass.dll & windows decoder.

Play a 48 000 Hz file for 5 sec. and then click on any 44 100 Hz file.

You will hear the 44 100 Hz file about 2 db louder.

Restart the 44 100 Hz file to return to normal volume.

The transient lost occurred just after pressing stop and play again.

I have a wav loop sample (4 kick) in loop mode.

You can download the test file here.

Fade-in is a Big NO for me because I want to hear the full transient (attack) of a kick or snare sample.

The transient (3 ms) is so important to the sound quality.

Also, I suggest to make the plain waveform display as default.

Yeah the high frequencies needs a boost. I always use the log analyzer, it's way better than linear mode. Can you make Resonic remember the settings : sort the samples by name from Z to A.

When I open Resonic again, the settings for sort by name is A to Z.
