As the title, it seems that even if the button says audio can be pitched up to +36, the actual maximum value is +26, from +27 on the audio result doesn't change.

Any chance to raise that maximum value to something like +72?

Why then the lower pitch is -66?

Exactly. That's how for example FL Studio's browser works: if you have the chance to try it there's an option to "show only one folder content" at a time. I find it really usefull when jumping between folders.

as the title, it would be nice to have such option. This would avoid endless scrolling after opening a few folders without closing them (which happens almost always).

Only the last opened folder stays open, the rest are closed automatically.
