I agree. Not a must for me, but more like a handy, easy thing to reach.
I will let the OP clarify its use case since I might be going somewhere else.

Re: Equalizer?
In Pro version, an EQ might be a tool to experiment with and forge samples, adding a first pass of DSP before sending it to a DAW.

Re: Middle-click over waveform
Interesting.
Since Middle-Click won't be available, I would appreciate a setting to change Right-Click function, something like "Pause/Continue on Right-Click". For my use case, I find it rude to stop playback on mouse-click (I'd much prefer keeping playback position).
Thanks!

Seek freedom
Hi, In Resonic Pro 0.9.1, I feel a bit limited when trying to seek quickly through files. In the past few days, I've been thinking about ways to do it differently. Please have a look at my ideas below. 1. Decouple seek & play When playback is paused or stopped, seek commands always play files automa...

Middle-click over waveform
Hey,
In Resonic Pro 0.9.1, a Middle-Click on waveform doesn't "pause / continue / start playback" as intended. It works fine over spectrums and in Resonic Player, though.
Same thing on your side?
Thanks.

Re: Played area (shade) disappearing
Alright. Maybe add an option for it (if stable enough) with a mention "CPU intensive". Just saying, I understand it's not a priority at this point.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Played area (shade) disappearing
Hi, Found a display bug: When resizing visualization container and its height is a bit over 380 pixels, played area (shade) disappears. For spectrums, shade also transforms into a thick vertical line at cursor position. By the way, I just discovered that Resonic's window can be dragged by Left-Click...

Re: Documentation update (Keyboard Shortcuts)
Quick, as usual! Just to make a point (I guess), that light blueish font styling did not apply correctly to both "on browser" at the end: Scroll browser: Wheel on browser Scroll browser faster: Ctrl+Wheel on browser Otherwise, it's all good! My offer is still on the table: if I can contribute ...

Re: Documentation update (Keyboard Shortcuts)
My reply on a related Resonic Users post: Hi Tom, I found some keyboard shortcuts in need of an update on Resonic's website. I wrote down a list on the forums (before seeing this post), but it would be much more productive if I could edit web pages directly (upon approval, of course). Are you setup ...

Documentation update (Keyboard Shortcuts)
I found a few mistakes in the online documentation at https://resonic.at/docs/shortcuts (application updates so fast, must be a full time job to keep up with the website ;)). Mouse over visualization Seek forward or backward (anywhere): Alt+Wheel (is Ctrl+Wheel in Resonic) With mouse over file list ...

Re: Prepare, but don't play - Keyboard workflow
With Prepare, but don't play (cue ready) set, and with Stop after current file disabled, playback will pause at the end of file instead of playing next track (no matter what) if playback was initially started by any seek command. To reproduce, set Prepare, but don't play (cue ready) , then Left-Clic...

Prepare, but don't play - Keyboard workflow
Hi again, I like to use the somewhat hidden Prepare, but don't play (cue ready) playback mode. IMHO, it has great potential but I find it's missing the point about keyboard shortcuts. While I appreciate the quickness of using the Up/Down arrows to audition files, sometimes I want to choose a folder,...

Re: ASIO output - Channel selection
Hey Tom, As promised, built-in card and audio interface are optically linked, both running at 96 kHz. Realtek configured at 24 bit in windows playback devices. RME being synced to it's own internal clock (I'm not sure why, but I never had to manually sync to the external clock, even when built-in ca...

Re: ASIO output - Channel selection
I just tried to plug in my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 (USB) as a second Audio Interface along with the RME fireface 802 (FireWire through a dedicated PCIe adapter card). It was a mess! The audio glitched every 5 seconds. Damn, I checked my mobo and I have a freaking S/PDIF optical out. I always got this...

Re: ASIO output - Channel selection
I definitely agree with you about RME.
By the way, the only reason I use DirectSound is for compatibility with standard applications (non Pro Audio) like web browsing and such.
If you need another alpha tester, i'm in.
Thanks for the add on the todo list.

Re: ASIO output - Channel selection
I've got the Fireface 802 from RME. It has quite a feature set. You can take a look here . Those guys code their own driver from the ground up, but it shouldn't matter for Resonic's code since they implement standards-compliant ASIO. To sum it up, I have a possibility of 30 I/O channels (combining a...

ASIO output - Channel selection
Hi, I'm running the lastest Pro version (build 0.9b), and there's one feature I really miss right now: The ability to change the ASIO output channel . From my experience, just about every ASIO-aware application has an extra setting for this purpose. To stay in line with Resonic clean UI, the most el...
