Your license is indeed very old. Please email it to me (you have the address) and I'll send you a properly refreshed one.
Done, thanks!

License warning on Pro Update?

Hey Tom, when I updated to Resonic 0.9.1 just now, I got a warning that my current license is not valid for this version of Resonic Pro Beta (it also happened with the version before). ResonicProWarning.jpg The last time I chose to ignore it and it worked anyway, this time too, but I thought I shoul...

Re: Overlay Analyser over Waveform

Hey Tom, I see... Well, I personally could live with stacked better than side-by-side, but still would prefer it being an overlay. But I don't know the internals so can't comment on performance, just thought the waveform not moving would make it more like a "wallpaper" to overlay the analyser on top...

Overlay Analyser over Waveform

Hey Tom, I hope you are well! As you know, I love my Resonic Pro... ;-) One wish though: I find myself always switching between "Waveform" and "Analyser Logarithmic" - the first is great to see the overall layout of the current file, especially when previewing samples etc. but while listening I tota...

I currently start to work on a sample heavy idea - the Pro version would come in handy for this... :-)

Can Auto-Fit-Warning be removed?

Hey Tom, I have the "Auto-Fit to width if possible" option active in the player. Since the option already contains the words "... if possible" I don't really know why I constantly need to see the warning that "Auto-Fit to width was not possible..."? I would be okay with seeing it once (and not once ...

Re: Which Windows versions are you running Resonic on?

Unsure about Windows 10 so far. It sounds like a worthwhile OS, but so far I'm unsure about what's the hook. Something feels fishy about how MS communicates it...
I guess I'll run it on a test system and see what deeper insight comes up on the web after the release...

Re: 0.6.2b

Awesome - nice list :-) A quick first test ran flawless, nice to have custom icons working even in bookmarks. One thing that I think could be improved visually is the top of the application: - The top area of the window-frame only contains "Resonic Beta 0.6.2" - I think it would make sense to show m...

Re: What's your preferred audio editing applications?

I would also add Edison - cool since it also exists as VST so you can directly record, edit and then play back in sync. I also find Ocenaudio quite interesting, especially GUIwise - and it handles multichannel audio. But my main editor is Audition 3 (I also have 5.5 but that's a major failure IMO) -...

Re: Should Resonic remember the volume mute state?

Not for how I use resonic. Volume mute for me would always be something temporary, not something that I would want to be "on" between sessions - I'd probably wonder why there is no sound ;-)
The only reason for me to use resonic is hearing sound...

Re: Beta 0.6 RC [Release Candidate]

As for removing the right-click options: Since it is non-trivial for the user to get rid of those, I became a bit wary of software that adds them without asking. I usually have to go into the registry every now and then and remove some, when my menu becomes too cluttered... Cheers and thanks! Does ...

Re: Beta 0.6 RC [Release Candidate]

- Rightclick on a folder "Play in Resonic Beta" with wav files opens Resonic Beta in the last folder used with nothing playing, not in the folder selected. Very good find. Re: Feature suggestions

XYplorer has a fantastic solution for this: When you are editing a filename in-place (either by pressing F2 or slow double click) you can press the up and down arrows to go to the next item above or below and stay in name-editing mode. It is extremely quick to work in that way. I can actually highly...

Well, definitely not something that kills me ;-) But since the waveform is static I thought it could be defined as the background to be drawn onto. Re: 12180 - Beta Test

Great work on the waveforms.
The only area where they look a bit weird is with single-cycle waveforms:
SingleCycleWaveform_Resonic.jpg
I love Resonic to preview those, it loops them quite smoothly so one can get an idea how they would sound as an oscillator :-)

Re: Feature suggestions

Re: Feature suggestions

Don't know if this would be a 'feature' per se... It would be nice if, after you've completed the Windows versions, you could make a Linux and Android version of Resonic. Not asking for it now, but at a later date when you have the stable full core of the program, and have completed the work on the...
