The 'Keep playback position' feature might save you quite a few clicks there.

Restoring from a minimized state should be faster than initially starting Resonic. It might get slightly faster in the next release, we changed method by which multiple instances communicate with each other.

It's explained in this thread. You may have to uninstall and reinstall Resonic.

You can get bitperfect playback using WASAPI in exclusive mode. Kernel streaming was deprecated a decade ago, there's really no point in supporting it.

I added this to the ever growing todo-list, should be relatively easy to implement.

Right, that behavior may seem a bit inconsistent, but actually works well in most cases.
Maybe we'll simply add an option for that.

We're definitely looking into ways to automatically categorize and organize sounds. The database features need to be in place first, though.

OneDrive isn't really supported at the moment, but we're looking into it.

Resonic does not rely on Windows for metadata extraction. If you email a couple of files to bugs(at)resonic.at we can have a look.

At the moment you'd have to use the filter feature to do this. That is, (recursively) scan the folder containing your samples and then configure the filter to search the comment field.

Right, in case of a freeze there won't be a crash dump, so detailed information on how to reproduce the bug would be most helpful there.
We already identified and fixed one such bug which only occurred when the file list filter was active.

@Tagirijus: Looks like the FL Studio issue might be resolved in 12.9.3 BETA 4

Mapping drives is the "right way" for now, but it's possible that Resonic is trying to access too many at once, which is problematic when it comes to network connections. We'll be looking into this.

How are you accessing the NAS? Through mapped network drives?

Resonic only minimizes on drop, but not on drag. It should minimize on drag, too. You need to stop moving the cursor for about half a second while hovering over the target window. The changing played area is by design. Drawing isn't hardware-accelerated yet and we want to keep CPU usage down.

There's no need to explicitly delete the search text by pressing the delete or backspace key. When reopening the filter, the whole text is selected, so you can just start typing in your new search term.

Select 'Advanced / Open data folder' from the main menu, the file is stored in the 'Database' folder.

Uninstalling Resonic probably won't do anything in this case. We'll try to find a workaround.

This seems to happen randomly on Windows 10 (maybe also on 8). Restarting Explorer usually helps.

Ah, I see the problem now. There seems to be a problem when the menu is flipped vertically if there's not enough screen space below. We'll look into it.

People will also use different displays (think TN vs IPS) and color calibrations, which again subtly changes how things look on screen. We're definitely planning to allow users to customize themes to some extent in the future.

Actually, both playback speed control and a spectogram are planned features.
