Re: Build 70xx Performance Blind Test
Thanks Andreasvb, for filling me in with the other thread.
Nope. Just tried it out but it didn't let me bookmark at all. Need more time to check into that, but won't have time before end of next week.Tom wrote:... do you have favorite folders set in the browser?

Re: Build 70xx Performance Blind Test
Can't say that I see much of a difference in terms of start-up speed. Tried on my slowest machine, but still, no discernible difference. It is not the fastest start-up of all players, but ranks among the top third, I'd say. Would it make a difference if it is called up by double-clicking an MP3 file...

Re: Build 5387
I agree with BTGbullseye, it seems faster than the previous build. Still missing a smoother way to adjust A-B loop positions without having to start over (I don't mean to be pushy, though, just a reminder observation) Can we changing the time indicator of the playback position ? i mean if i don't wa...

Re: Multi Tab Lists
Good to know. Thanks for filling me in.
Again, no worries, I'd rather see you aiming big for the really good stuff, and not wasting your time on half-baked solutions.

Re: Multi Tab Lists
That's the thing about coming up with wishes as a non-programmer: No clue how feasible ideas are in terms of technical limits. For a layman like me it seems a simple matter of duplicating the very same code that's already implemented. You're right of course, I just took the concept from web browsers...

Multi Tab Lists
It'd be really cool to just drag a folder over from the left side and drop it next to the current tab to get an additional tab - a very intuitive and fast way to create favorite folders on the fly, and still have the left tree in full view. It would suffice for the tabs to bear the name of their fol...

Re: Build 5127
Great. Big thanks for the A-B repeat feature. Much appreciated and desperately waited for. Incredibly useful. It works nicely on first trials. I have some suggestions to improve the handling - but I'd like to put it up for discussion. At the moment you have to click the A-B button to set the A and B...

When that message comes up in the footer, clicking on it will trigger the Refresh instead of requiring the user to shift his hands from the mouse to the keyboard. "Click here to refresh browser/ file list"

Re: Bookmarks
Yippie - may the next Beta be with me soon.
Thanks for the link. Silence visualization and bullet mode - innovative and useful features.
Wish I could fast-forward in real life, too. Waiting is not among the virtues in my brain settings. The Pro version will beta-test my patience capabilities.

Bookmarks
I am not referring to the Bookmarks section (Favorites) in the Browser-tree. What I am suggesting are bookmarks within a song. If they show up as little marks above the waveform strip (maybe inside a ruler, bearing a time mark), then it wouldn't be necessary to give them meaningful names (VLC player...

Quick access to Favorites
I love that click onto the song title in the header, which scrolls the tree to the containing directory. Would be great to have the same immediate jump to Favorites. Double-clicking the Browser-Tab or whatever else to get transported there, preferably to the same spot within Favorites (unless the cu...

Great potential
Forgive my mentioning of competitors, but I really think Resonic has the muscle to beat them all. On my search for something fast and lightweight and portable, based on directories (not playlists), with an intuitive clean interface, quick and obvious access to volume control - I 've come a long way....

Re: Praise, and some feature suggestions
keep it very, very fast! Don't add a feature that compromises on speed. Yes, that's my biggest concern, too :!: My other votes are similar: * some basic ranking system (stars or whatever) - YES * show some statistics in the statur bar - yeah, why not * Spacebar to toggle Play/Pause - a must, alread...

Re: Rename file on an F key would be great [Planned]
Looking forward to F2 - makes a lot of sense for a player that still offers the file name as a major organization field (and not just tag fields like so many others) to quickly manage a folder content.
