Proprietary formats make no sense these days, especially not for audio and video content. There's no need to hide data from user...

Output sample rate makes an audible difference going from 44.1kHz to 96kHz, even on 44.1kHz audio... Don't worry about it being a problem, my system has a few issues with audio getting sent to the soundcard at under 48kHz. (typically causes a bit of a muddying of the sound, and a lower dynamic range)

Default settings in Windows causes drives to enter low power mode after 30 minutes of idle... Unless that's been changed, it'll likely be the culprit.

The install automatically associates the default file types on install, and you can't tell it not to. You really should change this.

So that it returns to the first file in the list after it finishes playing the last file... Helps prevent the necessity of alt-tabbing out of full screen programs (some of which don't react well to doing so) just to keep the music going.

Sorry for the basic question, but what does this mean?
It means don't use it to overwrite the previous installs of Resonic as it could have serious conflicts arise. Just unzip to it's own folder and use it from there.

Sometimes folder tree and track from previous session doesn't load at all (so browser looks like at the first startup). Same. Doesn't happen all the time, but occasionally. Now I have confirmed, if you aren't playing anything when closing Resonic, it will not remember what folder you were in at exi...

Also, it's missing a "no" in "can longer be started". But let's hope we'll never need it anymore, instead. :D It can be the font I'm using that's clipping. You're not really supposed to change fonts in Windows anymore. :? http://i.imgur.com/XL5eBi6.png No 'no' here either... Default Windows 7 fonts.

No warnings from Avast... Probly because I turned off PUP detection.

Also, just an FYI... Encrypting the pro version won't significantly slow piracy once Resonic becomes famous. Nothing really slows piracy.
